I did have a little falling out with M·A·C cosmetics if you’ve read my previous post, I have since brought up the issue that happen too me at M·A·C head office in Toronto and the situation has been taken care of – which makes me feel a little bit better! Since M·A·C did start in Toronto in 1984 and began in a friends kitchen, I like the idea of working with a company that is home grown and became a massive company by working hard and creating a good team!
The PR sent out for the M·A·C x ROBERT LEE MORRIS was so beauty and kind of made me fall in love with M·A·C cosmetics again, when I first started applying makeup it was ➡️ M·A·C pro long wear concealer and ➡️ M·A·C studio fix powder.
Timeless yet astonishingly contemporary – Robert Lee Morris crafts fine jewellery that eludes categorization, existing at the boundaries between fashion and sculpture. Now, Morris adapts his sensuously organic style for a limited-edition collection for M·A·C, featuring a lineup of well-loved products reimagined and resculpted with golden and matte black packaging. Makeup takes on new, ultra-luxurious forms in Morris’s hands – primordial, futuristic, fantastical.
This collection has Mattene Lipstick’s in six (6) shades which are super hydrating and extremely long lasting pigment, it also come with beautifully packaged Pressed Pro Long Wear Powder in three (3) shades, and new Powder Blush which is limited edition.
DID YOU KNOW ➡️ ROBERT LEE MORRIS is a famous jewelry designer who I had the pleasure of working with this past spring!
Robert also repackaged two of M·A·C most loved brushes (135 Large Flat Powder Brush / 168SES Large Angled Contour Brush) along with coming out with a brush roll with four (4) brushes included and a very unique handle and design (184SE Fan Brush / 222SE Tapered Blending Brush / 204SE Lash Brush / 229SE Mini Synthetic Brush) there is also a small pocket or purse mirror which I thought was a cute little touch – I absouloutly love the look and the feel of this collection, and the vision is very easily seen.
The compact has an antique gold finish and the inside features an extra lid flapped attached to an oval mirror. I do wish that the compact was made out of metal (everything is plastic) but it is still very eye-catching and collector-worthy. Promising a 12-hour wear, the Pro Longwear Powder is finely-milled and nicely pigmented. Although not super creamy and soft, the powder provides some pretty impressive coverage. The formulation is blurring and matte and even after a full day of wear, there is minimal creasing or caking – as I said I love this partnership between M·A·C x ROBERT LEE MORRIS it’s very beautiful and stunning and you can see exactly what they wanted from this collection!
