What’s up friends and famjam.. maybe some that hate me or wish to be me! today we are going to talk about the full art of contouring – as a woman, I bet you didn’t even know with summer around the corner you have the same powers as photoshop to give you the body you always wanted!
Hey boys – here at MAKEUPANDTHECITY the same goes for you!
First of all, since we are going step by step lets take it to the face and explain first and hopefully the last time what contouring and highlighting means, Contouring is when you use a matte not shimmery powder, cream, or pencil product that’s two shades darker than your skin tone to shade areas you’d like to define or reshape, like your nose, forehead, chin, and cheekbones.
Highlighting (or strobing) offsets contouring by accentuating areas of your face with light concealer or highlighter. To properly highlight or strobe, use a concealer that’s two shades lighter than your skin tone or a highlighter that flatters your complexion to emphasize the areas of your face that naturally catch the light.
1. The collarbones are so sexy and if you are not born blessed with this beauties, you can easily draw them with the help of your contouring kit. Follow the natural bones and enhance them with makeup.
If you are not professional for contouring with a brush, here is a little trick that will be a big help for you: find a thin paper in a form of a rectangle that matches the form of your nose, just the way your highlight should be. Place it vertically and start contouring.
let’s see that trend for more!!!
CONTOUR – make sure that your contour is one (1) to (two) shades lighter than you actually are! The contour shade absorbs the light… literally.
HIGHLIGHT – It will bring out the features that, well, you want to accelerate.
