So I was opening some PR mail and I came across a package that was from a sender that I have never had before, I guess I never understood the presentation of a PR package they always try to make it look so cool and relatable so that we will want to talk about it, but this was different it was a plain box, and when I opened it, it had only four little boxes inside, it was like the products could speak for themselves and it they didn’t need all the bells and whistles by now you’ve read the header and know I’m talking about MDNA skin – and if you know pop culture you would know that MDNA stands for Madonna – so yes, Madonna came out with a extremely luxury skin line.
If you have my blog bookmarked or are a subscriber, you would know that I live and work within Canada so I think it’s safe to say that I am one of the first to receive MDNA skin and if you check out the website you will see some items that say coming soon, on a global scale which I got and I have been using this line for about two weeks, It’s truly changed my skin – if you want too give your skin care line that is a over priced and considered luxury brand, where do you launch it? Japan right? Right. (available in Japan since 2014)
The packaging is so beautiful, the box itself is astatically pleasing from the way it opens to the bottle sitting in a beautiful blanket of cashmere – reaching new lengths of hydration – It’s made with glycerin, squalane, and hyaluronic acid — the most potent hydrators around. A stable version of vitamin C in the serum works to dissolve age spots and acne scars. The Serum’s texture is more like a light lotion and is scented like a delicious orange soda. Try not to eat it. There is seven products within the line so but some are not so important as others. I was sent, The Serum($300), The Eye Serum($180), The Chrome Clay Mask($600), but I am going to do a review if it is better then the very similar E.L.F magnetic mask so I wont talk to much about it now, The Rose Mist ($120)
SIDE NOTE ➡️ Everything mentioned is available at Barneys
I find the rose mist to be a little be trashy of the Seven wonders, I mean Madonna sniffed 50 iterations of rose to land the perfect fragrance accord for The Rose Mist – I guess what I am saying is there is so many Rose Water sprays out there and that don’t come with a $120 price tag. There is a lot more to come on this review but I think I’m going to review each of the items in one post so that I don’t have a extremely long review.
