FOUR (4) DAYS OF TARTE MUST HAVES – TARTEIST PRO and PRO GLOW (day 2)

Since in my last TARTE review on SHAPE TAPE I was a little hard on it when it came to contour I figured today I’d talk about the Tarteist™ PRO glow highlight & contour palette and the beautiful Tarteist™ PRO Amazonian clay palette which is a damn must have, for, well, anyone who appreciates good quality makeup and must have packaging.

SIDE NOTE ➡️ These two palettes along with being amazing, smell like vanilla mixed with milk chocolate.

Before I fully start and get into it I will take the time to say thanks for the messages and comments, we all go through hard times and heartbreak but it’s the way we channel that pain is what will destroy or lift us. Sometimes it’s hard to forgive someone with just I’m sorry – but I’m trying.

Take a makeup artist home with this high-performance PRO palette for Instagram-worthy looks powered by healthy ingredients. In this palette you’ll get sixteen (16) longwearing matte eyeshadows infused with Amazonian clay for smooth blending and flake-resistant wear, plus four (4) brand-new iridescent luster shades with a microshimmer, duochrome formula. So in total that’s twenty (20) eyeshadows.

Deeply concentrated mineral pigments and a new smart-blend technology give you the best in even, intense payoff in a range of natural artistry, neutral-to-bold shades for all skin tones and skill levels.

It is completely true about skill levels, I’ve seen beginners create beautiful looks with this palette. All the way to taking it to the set of vogue to make them remember why they hired you as the set artist. This palette has all that you would want in colours. Plus the packaging is unlike any eyeshadow palette I’ve seen unless it’s an actually professional eyeshadow palette, I’m not going to compare it to anything because Tarte knows what there doing when it comes to branding and packaging – it stands alone and deservingly so.

There are a few similarities in shades here to past palettes but nothing I’d say was an exact dupe of shades Tarte has done. These shades feel quite new as many of them are deeper and richer than ones I already own from Tarte. Don’t be scared to buy it believing you already own the shades as the color options will surprise you here.

The shades that you’ll get when you get your Tarte Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette are • Classic (cream) • Innocent (soft peach) • Whimsy (brick) • Smoked (dark brown) • Ethereal (bronze) • Vintage (ivory) • Fierce (cool plum) • No Filter (purple mauve) • Vamp (deep plum) • Glam (champagne) • Chic (pale pink) • Profesh (taupe) • Mod (deep cherry) • Drama (maroon) • Minx (shimmering mauve) • Indie (greige) • Bold (light brown) • Edgy (chocolate) • Punk (black) • Trendy (prismatic teal)

SIDE NOTE ➡️ Did you catch one of those shade names in there? Sadly yes it’s true. If you know what I’m talking about it’s back to developing a new name.

➡️ One of the stand out points of this palette are the four new iridescent luster shades and the full size mirror that fits your entire face – shook

The luster formula is soft yet not so soft that the texture is powdery. These have a thin, soft, velvety texture that applies easily and looks wonderful as an overcoat to the mattes in the palette. They have a foiled finish that’s sparkly but not filled with chunky glitter or shimmer. I love how they accented the matte formula and created depth and richness to the completed look.

➡️ Of course I would recommend using an eyeshadow primer for extended wear and higher colour pay off – I would recommend this for any eyeshadow (or) palette.

The shades are setup into groups of fives which at a glance gives you an easy way to create looks. Five (5) across gets you a highbrow highlighter, shader, contrast, and crease shade plus a complimentary luster shade to complete your look and add a bit of sparkle and shine! There are two (2) complete warm and two (2) complete cool looks you can create using this method but obviously you can mix and match shades anyway you like – and I encourage you to do so!

Makeup is limitless, if you can imagine it you can create it. Plus Tarte gives you a step-by-step instruction guide to create four looks.

Tarteist™ PRO glow highlight and contour palettes packaging reminds me of a vanity the way both doors open up and both are mirrored and the product is in the middle (I’m actually going to ask Tarte if that was the inspiration behind the iconic packaging) again like the Tarteist™ PRO Amazonian clay palette you get the matte black hard plastic front and the back.

SIDE NOTE ➡️ these two palettes along with being amazing, smell like vanilla mixed with milk chocolate.

Inspired by makeup artist techniques, this highlight and contour palette helps you glow like a pro using healthy ingredients. Each carefully-selected shade has a rich, cool undertone to mimic real shadow and light reflection for the most natural look.

The four (4) intense highlighting powders deliver a buildable, micro-shimmer strobing effect, and the two (2) universal, matte contouring shades add balanced dimension in cream and powder formulas that can be worn alone or layered.

This Tarteist™ PRO glow highlight and contour palette for sure is the redemption that I needed when it comes to contour products from Tarte – this cream contour shade (shade) you can actually blend very nicely into the skin and you have some play time before it dries down – even layering a bit of the powder shade (sculpt) just in the center to add a little more depth to your cheek bones.

The shades you’ll get when you get your Tarteist™ PRO glow highlight and contour palette are • lit (champagne highlight) • strobe (pearl highlight) • fire (bronze highlight) • stunner (opalescent highlight) • shade (cream contour) • sculpt (powder contour)

The four (4) highlighters were frosted to metallic, and they will be most suitable for someone who likes a shiny, more metallic highlight (rather than a subtle one). The cream contour has a more shadowy look and feel to it, while the powder contour is warmer and more bronze-like. The highlight in this palette isn’t playing around, it’s intense which is a good thing in my books because you can always tone it down.

DID YOU KNOW ➡️ You can tone down your highlight by using your face powder and applying a little over your highlight or my personal studio trick, tape, yestape dab over it with some tape to remove a lot of the intensity leaving you with a perfect subtle glow.
